Our Story

Set up in Bali in 1986 as PT Bali Boxes by our founder Tabetha Rose from her kitchen floor, we started off by making small, decorative gift boxes and boxed gifts made from local batik and silks that were exported world-wide, our collection grew to over 500 different items.  

As Bali began to turn into the global tourism destination that we know today, so too did demand for different items besides the boxed gifts.  We made our first custom menu and room folders in 1990 and within a few years we added customised room & restaurant accessories.  We now have over 140 unique room collections in a myriad of different designs materials and finishes.

The business which started on the kitchen floor with just 1 employee as the two sat and figured out how to make those decorative boxes together, has now grown into a family of  over 70 workers, many of whom have been with us from those early years.   We became internationally well known as the brand Beyond Menus, and in 2014 we acquired the brand Beyond Hospitality Essentials, which we now amalgamate into the one site.  We are very proud to have worked with some of the most highly regarded hotels and resorts around the world, and as we now enter the second generation of this family business we continue to serve our clients with service befitting the best of hospitality.
